Comic Book Grading Scale
Comic books are graded on a 10-point scale, ranging from 0.5 (Poor) to 10 (Gem Mint). Higher grades indicate better condition, with Gem Mint (10) being flawless and Poor (0.5) showing heavy damage or missing pieces.
Grading also includes page quality, which describes paper aging and preservation, using terms like White, Off-White to White, and Off-White. Some graded comics may have restoration work, which is noted separately.
This standardized system helps collectors understand the condition and value of their comics.
